On Vedriti India's Senior Care Day, skilled healthcare professionals visit our partnering old age homes and conduct a thorough medical checkup of the residents and help them understand their health, along with prescribing the required medicines, offering personalized advice, and provide recommendations for a healthy lifestyle. We also conduct eye checkups, provide eyeglasses and arrange for Cataract surgeries

Loneliness and isolation are the biggest issues faced by elders living in old age homes. Vedriti India’s Community Day aims to address this by getting our donors, volunteers to spend some quality time with the seniors, engage in heartfelt conversations, and create lasting memories. This is accompanied with a music show, mimicry or a magic show to entertain the senior citizens. In March 2024, we organized our first-ever Community Day at an old age home in Mira Bhayandar Road. This day filled with music, good food and great conversations brought smiles to elders' faces, reminding them that they're surrounded by care and love. It's our simple way of spreading happiness and letting them know they're not alone.
